Culture is defined as a process of refinement and elevation. Paddy has to undergo transformation before it becomes rice. Such Samskara or refinement also enhances the value of things. Bharatiya culture is enriched with profound, sublime, and uplifting ideas. “Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu” (May all the people be happy) and “Sarve Bhadrani Pasyanthu” (May all see auspiciousness or may everyone perceive goodness) serve as the benevolent mottos of Bharat. Bharatiya sacred culture is for everyone in the world as it gives the message of humanness, and teaches mankind to live together happily with unity and harmony.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba says, “Education is not for mere living but for life and educare is a continuous process of drawing out from within, that goes on throughout life. Educare as a practical approach to education, promotes culture.
In Treta Yuga, evil was confined to other countries, while in Dwapara Yuga, both good and evil coexisted within the same family (Pandavas & Kauravas). However, in Kali Yuga, it is even more challenging as good and evil can reside within the same individual. God cannot simply destroy the individuals in this age; instead, the formidable task is to transform them from their negative tendencies towards goodness. This age calls for a more complex approach than simply eliminating the wicked; it necessitates the profound transformation of individuals, guiding them towards goodness and righteousness. When someone is seen as 75% good and 25% flawed, it’s vital not to dwell on their imperfections. Rather, we should emphasize their predominant goodness and acknowledge that everyone faces spiritual challenges. Our objective is to foster positive human attributes like forgiveness, love, humanity, kindness etc while shedding negative traits such as jealousy, hatred, anger, and selfishness. This transition enables us to reach a higher state characterized by divine qualities. The emphasis is on inner change and spiritual growth, recognizing that each individual possesses the potential for transformation and the capacity to transcend negative tendencies through self-awareness and spiritual development.
Inspired by the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Swami Vivekananda, our university’s programme is designed to cultivate holistic individuals and foster the development of physical, emotional, intellectual, psychological and spiritual growth in the human personality through educare (integral education that based on bharatiya culture, vedic sastras, ancient texts, sanatana dharma etc). Our approach encourages the integration of self-reflection, deep contemplation, and hands-on experiential learning, fostering the organic development of spiritual intelligence, enabling individuals to live a harmonious life while serving humanity.
We extend a warm invitation to everyone to engage in the rigorous inquiry presented by the programs and courses offered at our university.
May the divine almighty shower his choicest blessings on everyone and may happiness embrace all beings in this universe
